Prepared & Empowered to Birth, April 15 & 16, 2023
Welcome parents! Please join Sam in this 2-day fun and interactive childbirth prep workshop designed to equip you and your support person with the information and tools that you will need to feel prepared and more confident for a happier, healthier and more connected labor and birth.
Knowledge is power and the key to a positive birthing experience is just that!
Providing you unbiased evidence-based facts with the latest research, along with specific techniques and tools from over 9 years of experience working in the birthing space, Sam offers a comprehensive overview of what to expect in labor, birth and the early postpartum season. Whether you choose to birth in a hospital, birthing center or home, this course covers it all and is for everyone.
The goal is to empower you to have an informed and supportive birthing experience so that you can enter into the demanding days of early parenthood not only surviving but thriving!

Come ready to learn and have a good time, meet fellow parents in your community, and get prepared for your BIRTH day!
This 6-hour workshop is held from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., both Saturday and Sunday, at Yoga Loft in downtown Manhattan Beach: 1112 Ocean Drive, Manhattan Beach, CA 90266.
The workshop is taught by Samantha Hoppes, Childbirth Educator (Lamaze) and Birth Doula (DONA). She is a certified RPYT Pre & Post Natal yoga teacher and uses a variety of teaching techniques to help parents understand and integrate what they learn into there unique birth plan. She lives with her husband and two daughters in the South Bay.

Meet a group of new mamas and feel supported + empowered as we move through 6-weeks of thoughtfully curated topics lead by Sam and Barbara together to inspire, share, and connect in your new role.
Each week we will cover topics that are research-based and relevant to your needs and your baby’s development: sleep, nutrition, milestones, newborn feeding, self-care, family dynamics, relationships, returning to work.
Babies will also be engaged in age-appropriate, fun developmental games and songs. A light and nutritious snack will be provided for mama (because we know how hard it is to get that in!)
We are unique in our approach as we encompass elements of mind (discussion), body (light & restorative movement) and spirit (centering & grounding) for a weekly well-deserved recharge! Local South Bay professionals participate in our guest speaker panel specializing in postpartum health and wellness care.
A fun and supportive space created by mamas for mamas to navigate the joys + demands of early motherhood. Come and meet your tribe!

Childbirth Education | Private + Small Group Workshops
Feel prepared and ready to take on labor and birth with a customizable private or small group private from the comfort of your own home!
You will actively participate in learning various comfort measures and coping techniques for labor.
Expectant parents will receive the necessary information to help make informed decisions while understanding the stages of labor, delivery process, possible interventions, infant procedures, and early postpartum care.
